While there's no denying that FFN is a great archive where anyone can find just about any story they may be looking for, searching the archive trying to find a decent new story is like a trip to the dentist without novocain. In closing, this is where you go when you know what you're looking for. |

Durring one of my frustrating nights on FFN, I finally found a pretty good story and enjoyed a pleasant read. In the author's notes another archive was listed. Once I checked it out, I was more than happy to find many of my favorite authors posting their fics there. Since then the site has grown, recruited many other talented authors, and also hosted the Tacoballs awards. This is the place to find good quality fanfiction without the mind-numbing searching that you're forced to undertake on FFN. |

Lightning Studios Wake, Together We Stand; Hotwire's homepage is a great place to find some truly top-notch stories. Wake has to be my favorite post 3I fiction to date, despite being the first I read. |
Random's
Anime Fan Fiction Random has produced quite a variety of stories in a rather short period of time. Chain of Command has been the most enjoyable series I've read in quite a long time. Check out his site; with so many works, your biggest problem will be where to start. |

R One of the most widely know and longest running Eva fictions out there, Eva R is a must read for fanfic enthusiasts. With a well developed storyline and great caracter developement, it is often refered to as the sequal to Eva. This site has everything; from cg movies, to voiced dialog, to an art gallery, this is one story you must read from the source. |
